Sena good for wallet too?
All,

Just bought my x50v and am now looking to buy a case. I'm very interested in the flip-style (preferably Sena), but also want to do away with my wallet and use the PDA case for both. Mind you, I rarely carry cash and pretty much have about 4/5 credit cards. Does Sena allow enough space to put credit cards (I don't mind stacking them on top of each other) and maybe a few bills if necessary?
If not, can anyone recommend a better case?

I have the Sena x50v case w/ blt clip, and my wife has the non-clip version for her x50v. They're slightly different. The non-clip case has a clear plastic window where you could shove in a small business card or "owner" tag, and the clip-style case doesn't.

This case is great in both versions because you can dock the x50v in your sync/charge cradle without removing it from the case. I never take it out of the case.

I really wouldn't recommend using either as a wallet. I personally don't think either has enough space for cash, and it only has 2 credit card slots. If you can get away with that, it might work for you, but I suspect you'd always be digging through it looking for something & would quickly get frustrated.

No room for the bills in my opinion. You could get about 4 credit cards in the 2 holders though. There's a company that makes what you want too. Take a look over at Aximcases (click through from our homepage link please) I know I saw it there.

I think what you want is the Vaja case... I use a Sena because I love it... bought a second one for my Toshiba... so I guess you can say that I am a repeat customer now.

http://www1.vajacases.com/home_en.html

They used to make a wallet version of their cases... but I do not see one available for the Dell.

Here is a picture of it for the Hp2210... you will notice the wallet feature in one of the pictures... the lower right corner.

Agreed. I have the Sena case and like it a lot. But it's just not suitable for a wallet.

Piel Frama has a bit more space for extra bills than the sena

you maybe could get a few in, but not alot

The covertec has the most space, but again its still not a ton

I have a Sena and love it, but DON'T PUT YOUR CREDIT CARDS IN IT!!! The Sena uses a magnetic closure rather than snap or buckle, so it will screw up your swipe cards. To me the magnetic closure is one of its greatest features, keeping the case slim and the profile as low as possible, but a wallet it is not.

Best of luck,
Dave

I use my Sena case as a wallet - I carry my driver's license, debit card, gas card, and a credit card, which is all I need. No problems with the stripe on my cards going bad due to the magnetic closure, either.

the magnets shouldnt affect your cards.

for one, the magnets are on the sides, not right over the cards

also, not all magnets will mess up credit cards....some are not powerful enough and i would say that the little magnets on the sena wouldn't be a problem

I'll admit I've never tested a credit card near the magnets, but when I got the case I called Sena to ask. They told me not to put swipe cards in it.
