Whats with Dell? I order a DELL AXIM X50 TRAVEL KIT on 12-6-04 they tell me that it will be delivered on 1-22. On 1-23 the send me an email saying that it will be sent on 2-28 almost 3 months later. So I go on today to look at the order status and it was cancelled no email no phone call. So again I say what's with Dell?

Same deal with me regarding the travel cable . I haven't check yet to see if they canceled it out. One thing though, I did complain in their support chat in December and was given a $35.00 off coupon to use on my next order. I was told at the time that shipment would be on 2/14. That's almost three months since I first made the order.

Ebay got them I see.

Since I already had a X30 3 in 1 travel kit, I just ordered a charge sync cable from Boxwave. I use it with the Dell / Belkin 12VDC auto adapter and 100 - 240 VAC wall adapter and my wait was over. I got tried of waiting on Dell to get it together.

Does that travel kit come with a car charger? I would guess that Dell is finding that the car charger is not charging the X50v while the X50v is on. So they are probably holding off till they can find a 1+ amp car charger.

Yeah, Dell burned me on this one too! I ordered at the beginning of December, never received a delay notification. I had to contact them as it was a Christmas present. Since then I've received two delay notifications pushing it back til the end of March. Today I checked my account and it was cancelled, no e-mail or nothing. I used Dell chat and got a $75 concession coupon. I just used it to order an extended batter with 256 MB SD card for $20! Not too bad I guess!
