Sena in pocket
Does Sena case, without the clip, add much size to the Axim? Will I still be able to fit it in my pants or shirt pocket, or sport jacket pocket?

I have the same question. I wonder how it compares with the Dell slip case in thickness.

Anyone?

And I assume you are probably debating clip vs no clip as well, huh? Me too.

Got mine w/o clip, I have a Krussell w/clip that I can use if I want a clip. I have had a PPC for nearly 3 years now and find that I almost never clip it on my belt, just too big adn bulky. So when getting the sena I picked w/o clip.

It does not really add much to the size, maybe 1/8" to 1/4"

About same as slipcase
I got a sena case without the belt clip, black. It is about the same size as the slip case, maybe even a bit smaller. Great quality and fit. Greatly recommended!!!

The Sena is about 30mm in thickness. By comparison my RhinoSkin metal case is about 25 mm in thickness, and the Dell slipcase is about 28 mm.

In practical terms, though, I can comfortably carry my x50v in its Sena case in my jacket pocket or in the breast pocket of my hospital scrubs at work. It's a little bit thick to be carrying in my jeans pocket.

I really wish that Dell would start including a flip cover that would protect the screen when the Axim is being used "naked." (The HP4700 and Palm T5 both come with flip covers.)

I measured my Sena, and got a total thickness of 1 1/8". That's ~ an addition of 3/8" to the thickness (Axim is ~ 5/8"). The width is 3".

My RhinoSkin is 1" thick and just under 3 1/4" wide at the widest part (the hinge and cover clasp).

From what I can see and have heard, the Sena is a great buy and a great case, a little less expensive than the Piel Frama. But the Piel Frama has the removable clip whereas the Sena's clip is permanent. Is that correct?

That's correct, if you get the sena case with clip it is permanent. Also, I bought the sena w/out a clip and found that it is a little to thick to carry in my jeans pocket and the Axim is a little to heavy to carry in a breast pocket. Overall, the sena case is excellent and would recommend it. I'm thinking about getting another with a clip.

In the photo, it looks like while the clip is permanent, the permanency resides with the button, which then slips in and out of the belt clip. Is that correct? Or do you have to undo the entire belt clip each time you want to use it.

If it's just the button that's permanent, that doesn't seem to add too much bulk then.

The clip is removable from the button, so it is still easy to carry in a shirt pocket.

I Love the Sena
I just got the sena with belt clip and it's a perfect fit. It's slick and the flip cover is magnetic (a plus for busy people who want to use it on the fly). I must admit that it's bigger than what I'm use to (h4150 with flip up leather case), but the size is minimal when it comes to protecting this investment from scratches!

The other down side is that the case is expensive at $56 total with shipping. Yikes! I love it nevertheless. Don't wait, get it!
