Axim X50V keyboard
I have a new Dell Axim X50V. Naturally none of my X5 accessories work so I'm looking for a new keyboard for the unit. I have the Dell X5 keyboard (fold up with the X5 plug) and I like that (5 rows and feels good to type.) I'm looking for something similar. I don't like the bluetooth one that Dell is selling (4 rows) and I heard that bluetooth will drain the battery fast so is IR better??? Anyway I'm open to any suggestions.

I don't have my X50v yet, but I made some research, and my Palm Universal keyboard is supposed to be working perfectly with it.

It has 5 rows, is very light, and use IR, so no battery draining.

Palm Universal
Is there a model number? The last thing I want is to buy a keyboard by name...I've already made that mistake. Do you like the feel of the keyboard?

here is the link.

Look for the Universal Wireless Keyboard by palmOne™

The feel is great. It is very compact, but very rigid when opened.

i use the think outside BT keyboard to take notes in class and have never had the battery die on me. That's about 3h45m of continuous typing w/ the backlight on the second to dimmest notch. It is also helpful b/c my university has those small pull-up desks next to your chair; i can lay my x50v down flat while typing w/o the fear of knocking it off the desk.

I have the TO IR keyboard and I love it. It only has 4 rows, but that only took me about 1 days time to get used to using. I see NO battery drain with it. I also have the TO BT mouse which I would highly recommend to go right along side the keyboard. But, like was said earlier, if you want a 5 row keyboard, I've heard good things about the PalmONE.
