I love my x50v but the controls are just too small and close together to be able to play snes games etc Would it be possible to map keys on a stowaway bluetooth keybaord and play with that?

I posted this in the games forum but only got one respone - wanted to see if anyone else had tried

I actually tried to use the ThinkOutside BT keyboard with Morphgear but I found that it would begin to lag the ppc and make the games unplayable. Haven't tried it with anything else though.

Well, just got my dell bluetooth keyboard today. So far works great with NES emulator (super mario broths is great, map the a & b keys in the options) no lag at all.
Also works with Pac-man from Microsoft with no lag. Duke nukem 3D and doom both had lag.

Quake is actually playable with the keyboard, slight lag but playable. Stuntcar extreme the steering with the arrow keys works great, no lag but I can't find a key for the gas. So i was using the stylus for gas and arrow keys to stear. Easier with the arrow keys than the d-pad.

So there is hope, have you PocketSNES on your PDA? If so do you haveany lag eg with zelda?

This is so frustrating, you would think if the BT keyboard worked for one thing it would work for everything. If anyone else is reading this thread I would appreciate any experience with the various game emulators and a BT keyboard especially pocketSNES

I don't know about emulators. It doesn't work with Arvale though.

It works in Arvale Fine for me that's about the only gave I've gotten to work well so far.
