keyboard attachment for X50v?

Hi, I'm new to the Axim X50v world, and I'd like to have a keyboard that I could use with the Axim, perhaps as an attachment.

I see some remarks about bluetooth enabled keyboards. Is that a big deal? (does that work out of the box?)

Anybody have recommendations? Is this one of those generic things you can buy at a local Compusa?

It's either bluetooth or IR keyboard so far
I have the bluetooth one and love mine...

so what do those things cost? In another thread you were talking about Think Outside keyboard. Wait, $100 for a bluetooth keyboard!! Is there a good midprice alternative?

Are all the bluetooth keyboards interchangeable? What about infrared? What do you need to look for to ensure a smooth experience on my x50v?

The bluetooth (BT) keyboards and IR keyboards all work with pretty much all PDAs,

Personally I have 2 Think Outside BT Keyboards and love them

Thinkoutside also has an IR keyboard for quite a bit cheaper.

www.thinkoutside.com

amazon has them both for pretty good prices http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...oth%20keyboard

Both look good, especially the price of Thinkoutside IR. What's the difference between a bluetooth and IR in terms of performance and features?

Is there any reason NOT to go for the IR?

(Sorry, I realize it may seem that I am letting other people do my legwork and research for me).

awesome, one nice thing about Bluetooth is you can set your pda on the table (in the stand) and then use the keyboard in your lap

also the bluetooth lets you hit more than one key at once, where the ir doesnt...this can make a difference if you are a fast typer
