Can anyone recommend a CF or SD camera for the X50v
Grateful for your advice on a plug in camera module. Ideally I'd like something in the 2mp range and preferably a CF version (as I have an 1Gb SD card for storage).

And what about the software that comes with it?

Thanks in anticipation.

Since I've had no response for 3 weeks, I'll take that as a "no" then!

Buy a 'propper' camera with SD or CF and then put the card in the axim. Viewing photos on the X50V is fantastic. much better than a tiny little sd webcam type device

Yeah, just get a digital camera with CF or SD and watch em' in your Axim. That's what I do! 4MP is like minimum nowadays.

Whoa! That got results! Thanks guys for your advice. I should have said that I have a pretty good 6Mp camera that I have for personal use. I was wanting something to "snap on" to the x50v for occasional work purposes. Resolution doesn't have to be fab just good enough for pix to drop into word reports or powerpoint presentations, so I guess 2Mp would have been good enough. I've seen reports on the Veo and Fly-by stuff, and a colleague has an HP SD cam @ 1.3Mp. These all look a bit yesterday. I was wondering if there was something more up to date. But I guess I'll have to hang on a bit. Cheers!

The HP camera takes excellent pictures when there is good light. I had one with and ipaq but have not used it with my dell.

The 1.3mp cams you mentioned are the only ones avalible now. Personally I'm gonna wait for a nice SD digicam add-on as i love the idea of a device that can do everything (X50v).. A full camera means more batteries, more space, etc, etc... n.b. 1.3mp = 1280x1024 resolution thoguh so really its not that bad.

I got one of the LifeVue 1.3's really cheap and it's ok for snapshots if you really need it. My biggest beef besides the quality is you can't get the stylus out when the camera is in. I prefer the camera on my phone though.
