TO Bluetooth Mouse

How many peple have the Think Outside Bluetooth mouse? Do you like it? Is it worth getting? Does it work okay in combination with the TO BT keyboard? Are there any bugs besides having to soft reset to get the cursor to go away?

Thanks in advance for any input. I'm thinking about buying one of these.

I have it and use it with my Dell BT keyboard (which is made by TO). It was worth every penny I spent on it. I particularly use it when I'm web surfing and word processing. It gets a little surly at times and doesn't connect on command, but that is only a minor irritation. With my keyboard and mouse, I almost feel like I have a laptop. :approve:

Mine works perfect, if you use it in safe mode (really no different then enhanced mode) you do not need to soft reset to get the cursor to go away.

I love mine and it works perfect with the TO Keyboard :approve:

Okay, I just ordered it from amazon.com. I'm so excited to try this thing out! I hope Dell releases WM2005 for the X50v. I think with the improvements in the core apps, it really can be a replacement for a laptop for some people.

Grentz points out an important factor: run the mouse in safe mode. I tried to get mine to run in enhanced mode and there was just no way!

I love it, but I have do have a slight problem with the TO Mouse. When I have my Ax in true VGA mode (all the time, in other words), the pointer only shows up in the top left corner of the screen.

I am waiting for TO to respond to my email about it, but in the meantime, does anybody know of a fix/tweak/hack to solve this?

They have said they may work on this in the future, there is no fix currently

remember True_VGA is really a hack and not truely how the PDA should be, so the companies do not always try to keep true_vga in mind

it works only in the upper corner because thats the dimensions in pixels of the normal screen that the pointer is made for

Exclamation Bad bad WM2003

I have both... It was a royal pain until the new drivers....
Now both units seem to function okay...however... My Axim will no longer connect to my Mot 710 to do a dial up!!!!!!It worked fine before the stack update. I have tested the phone with a compac 3970 and my pc with a usb bluetooth adapter and it works fine..Does anybody have a workaround for this? has anyone seem this problem as well? It sees the phone and will pair no problem but when it comes time to dial it dies everytime!!! :realmad: :realmad:
Dell really needs to release 2005 for free for dealing with all these bugs... It really sux to spend 700 plus on crap that has wireless problems AND memory managment problems!!!!
Don't get me wrong I luv the AX but come on.. they should be all over microsoft for these problems!!!!

I was wondering how to get rid of that pointer. Thanks Grentz.

BTW, my mouse works great with the keyboard. :approve:

I bought mine at amazon.com. It was the best deal I could find. They have a mouse/keyboard package deal. And I applied for their credit card and got another $30 instant discount. :)

Sorry, I am going to keep them both... For what it's worth the bt keyboard and the bt mouse both work FANTASTIC on my pc with a linksys bluetooth USB adapter.
I really think the driver set for the axim just is not up to par yet :(
