Bluetooth vs. Infrared Keyboards
I've seen a lot of excited messages about Bluetooth keyboards and none about IR keyboards for the X50V's. Other than the cool factor what is the advantage. The screens are so small that you can't really get past IR range and still read them. Bluetooth keyboards are going to burn through your battery a lot faster since obviously you have to turn on Bluetooth. Since IR is on all the time you are not going to see the battery drain you would on Bluetooth. I tested an IR keyboard from PalmOne and while I didn't like the keyboard because of lack of driver functionality it did function as a basic keyboard very well. So the question is if 2 keyboards offer the same fuctions why would you want to go with Bluetooth and almost twice the price?

If you could use bluetooth keyboards with a tablet pc and/or home media centers as well as the pocket pc it would be great, but I'm unsure if this is possible at the moment. My IR keyboard works fine for my axim.

Get a bluetooth USB adapter. I have this one http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...156-144&depa=0

I can get around 150 - 200 ft away with my TO BT keyboard

I use it on my Media Center pc and my laptop, also works great with the TO mouse
