Hello everyone, I have an Axim X50, wanting to use a 256 MB SD memory card from "Hama". However, I'm pretty clueless as how to make it work??? I've inserted the card into the slot, and then expecting to see a change of total memory available, but all I can see is that total main memory is 64 MB and total storage card memory is 21.33 MB.

Storage free: 2.55 MB
Program free: 4.25 MB

Does anyone know how I can make this work or verify whether or not the SD card has been propery installed...? I would like to buy a 1GB card but remain hesitant as long as I can't make the present one I have work...

Program and Storage memory is referring to the built in RAM on the device. To check the SD card, go to Start, Settings, System tab, Memory. Go to the Storage Card tab and select SD Card from the dropdown list in the middle of the screen. The display will update with the total memory on your SD Card along with the used and free space totals.

Hello brobinson, thanks for your quick response ! I have checked the setting you were referring to, but all I only have one option under the dropdown list...

But now at least I know where to look in the future should it work.. I wasn't sure if I had missed something obvious.. thanks for your help once again
