Mugen 2200 or Dell 2200 Battery?
I just got in on the x50v $360 deal and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be wanting the extended battery. Is there any difference between the Dell or the Mugen extended battery? The price seems the same at most places so I was wondering if one was better than the other.

On another note, I have always been an iPaq person, had a 5555 and sold it to get a 4700, but just couldn't justify the MUCH higher price of the 4700 for essentially the same PPC. I kind of wanted to wait for the next generation of PPC's but I figure I can get the Dell now and if I really want to upgrade if and when new ones come out at this price I can e-bay it and only be out a couple of bucks (if any!)

Can't comment on the Mugen, since I've never used it, but I'm very happy with my Dell extended battery, it seems to more than double my battery life (very unscientific observation). I'm able to watch a 2 hr movie and still have at least 70% left. The only downside is finding a decent case that accomodates the larger battery.

Loin Battery stands behind it products and has an excellent product to boot. Sorry you just missed a sale for the month of Feb.

The price difference between Dell and Lion Battery is $30.00.

I would buy a battery from Lion Battery. Follow the link at the home page here at Aximsite, top left corner.

I have both batteries. I can't see a difference in them, but I just received my Mugen 2200 mah. I would go with Lion Battery - very nice and quick shipping.

The only reason I have the Dell 2200mah is it was on special when I got my x50v.

Hope this helps.

So they're the exact same size? I was under the impression that Mugen made smaller extended batteries with the same power capacity. Anyway, I went ahead and ordered the Mugen from Lion... sure wish I had noticed they're going to be gone till March 16th thuogh... I might have bought it somewhere else. Oh well, I don't even have my x50v yet either...
