I looked and looked for the same thing. But, I was never able to find one. I finally gave up and just got the thinner one. Maybe a microdirve will fill the gap? Good Luck~

I use a Type 2 CF SD card adapter running a 512MB Kingston with various progs on it, and it runs fine I don't notice any lag, the only thing that was slow was doing a Sprite backup to it, but when I use CF this was always a bit slower anyway. I got mine from www.mittoni.com.au.

Hope this helps.

Microdrives will fill the gap and are type 2, the gap is normal on all devices that support type 1 and type 2 cards.

About the only type 2 cards are the Microdrives

Lexar's 4Gb and 8Gb CF cards are type II as far as I know:

http://www.lexar.com/digfilm/compact_flash.html

At least that's the reason I was going to get one

I used a piece of foam that came with my Rhinoskin case. Cut it real thin, and pushed it into the hole with my stulus....

Sorry for the bad picture quality, I was using my Lighter Camera, which isn't too great. :P

Are you sure it's type II, the only one I see on dell's site is type I? The text is a little misleading saying it will work in a type II device, but if it's the SANDDISK 1GB CF that is a type I. If there is a type II somewhere else on the site (cameras or something), I'd be interested in getting that one.

Mine is from SimpleTECH. I got it from newegg. Personally I'd like a type I that I could use in my camera.
