Anybody see/hear of such a device... ideally I'd like to find a multi-purpose one that would mount on my car window/dash as well.

I think the company name is RAM. They have alot of modular stuff that can mount anything. I'd be careful about vibration, but then again I have a Harley, not a Gold Wing.

They often stock the stuff in bigger sporting goods stores for mounting GPS in fishing boats, or try the Cabela's catalog.

what type of bike is it for one with a screen of without? without a screen I think a tank bag may be a good option (with a clear panel) on maybe you could modify a car one to go on the top yoke? if you find anything please report back as I would like to mount my ax on my honda hawk

if its for music and navigation there a very trick bluetooth helmet available but you would no doubt have to remortgare to afford one, maybe a bluetooth headset and backpack would work?

I have a R1150RTL BMW. I was thinking about a mount so I could use it for GPS.

Hmm I was thinking of trying to figure out a way to attach it to the triple tree.

I ride a 99 Yamaha R6. It can be done.. I have a few friends with 4-5 inch LCD screens in that area.

just had a Brain Fart. WOnt work on all bikes but it may work with modification to sport bikes at least.

They make Camera Mounts for Sport bikes that attache using longer supplied tank cover bolts. This mount could be modified to hold the PDA with maybe the new Magnesium case or Rhino.

that sounds like a good idea, maybe use an otterbox case if the weather is bad.

my bike is a japanese import honda bros 400, sold as the hawk 650 in the U.S and the ntv elsewhere.

I cant wait to finish uni and get riding this summer, its been a long winter!

i'll report back if I find a solution

Yep I ride too. There isn't a Axim specific mount but I'mm bet that the iQue mount could be made to work.
