Has anyone used the iTECH Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard on their x50v

Damn, I just read about this thing, and it sounds great. The only question I had is what if you rest you fingers on ASDF JKL; while you are typing? Would this cause a problem? Anyway, I was just wanting to know if anyone has used this. Thanks.

You'r right, this looks like a sweet add-on. I have not tried it myself, but have read several reviews. They all say that the keyboard is projected onto a solid surface and the sensor reads motion 2mm above the surface. Therefore, if you rest your fingers on the surface, it will read that as input and give you the letters.

I have read about this, and it seems like a terrific Idea, but not quite developed enough yet to be entirely mainstream, and with no tactile feedback, you would have to be an experenced touch typist to use it properly. Just my two cents, but I would wait until the key recognition is better, and they work out some of the bugs it is supposed to have

Hi !
I have the ITech BlueTooth Virutal Keyboard and it doesn't work with Axim X50V, and it says "Series of Bluetooth could not have found any port for the device VKB Keyboard".

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks.

Interesting. All of the sites I had looked at don't show the x50 as a compatible device. Did you read something different?

IT DOES WORK WITH THE x50V!
However, you must throw away the manual :)
