Hi, I just bought an x50v off ebay (about an hour ago) but it doesn't come with a standard battery door, I assume it's lost, because most people wouldn't intentionally sell an x50v without a battery cover without good reason... Does anyone know where I can buy one? It comes with a extended battery, but I think it might have that cover, I don't know, so I'd really need the two covers, unless they aren't really required, I wouldn't know...

Unless someone has an X50 that has been damaged and they are willing to sell their battery door, your best bet would be to call the Dell Spare Parts Division to see if they can send you one.

The X50 doesn't work witout the door. It won't turn on even if you switch the door lock button as if a door was there.

If you get a mugen 1100 mah battery, they come with the door. I bought mine from Lionbattery.com, but cases.com sells them, too. There is a 15% discount coupon in the members discount forum of these forums. I've got a spare one around here somewhere... Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I bought a spare 1100 battery that came with a door, so I have two of them. I can't imagine ever needing a second door, so you're welcome to have mine. Let me know how to contact you.
