Compact Flash Question
Hi I'm new to the site but it looks like it could benefit me quite a bit. I searched and came up with nothing for an issue I'm having with my 512MB CF card by Lexar. I was putting mp3s on it and the card got up to about 470 of 488 available MB when it stopped loading onto the disk, saying it was out of space. I cleared out of the menu and tried to add a 3MB file (knowing there was still 17MB of space left as shown by the memory bar on the Axim) and it still told me I was out of memory. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I load files onto my Axim through the active sync cradle, if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for the help, this looks like a good site to be a part of.

It quicker to load mp3's or any large files (movies) via a card reader.
I suggest a soft reset to see if this clears it up.
You may want to reformat your drive. I suggest that you try Pocket Mechanic. They have a 14 day trial period. You can run tests on your drive as well.

I've not long ago replaced my USB1 card reader with a USB2 one. The difference it makes in speed is great.

Just thought I'd pass the info on
