I am not sure if it belongs here but I would like to ask if its worthy to upgrade ram x50V to 128 mb.
I know I will lose warranty

I too was thinking about upgrading to 128mb (after warranty expired), but due to the high cost involved (plus losing the ax for up to 6 weeks), believe it's better to put the money towards buying the next-gen ax, which surely will come with 128mb as standard.

A couple of Aximsite members upgraded and seem pleased. For me, it is not worth the $200 at this time. I suspect that it might be worth it if you had to do a lot of intensive processing with your Ax. Daz's advice seems reasonable to me. Surely, there will be new models coming out in the near future with 125.

Guys, thanks for your opinions .I have decided to cancel my order to upgrade ram.Main reason is loosing the warranty. As I can see in this forum dell x50V is a little problematic device and think I need warranty more than bigger ram

boto, smart move. Warranty is more important. IMHO.
