PDair X50 Case for Xtended Battery now on website
PDair is now posting on their website the aluminum case for X50 with extended battery. Aximcases.com is still saying that preorders will be taken soon. We shouldn't have too much longer to wait! :

Full of curiousity/anticipation i clicked on the link, and at first i was slightly disapointed that it looks exactly like my Pdair/proporta Alu case.

Then I thought... FANTASTIC.. It looks exactly like my Pdair/proporta Alu case with a built up back.

So thats another thing to add to my shopping list (along with the Microdrive, Extended battery and Bluetooth Keyboard)

Hmm.... no access hole for soft reset? Looks that way from the pics. Makes me wonder how these manufacturers can miss something so obvious. Sure, you can drill your own, but you really shouldn't have to.

Holy Smokes!!! I didn't even notice that! I assumed that it would have one because the same case for the X50 w/out the extended battery does have a reset hole! Argh!!

The pics look great on the website. My only gripe is the one SD card holder slot. Two would be great. I already have the rhinoskin hard case, but the PDair looks promising.

1) The Rhinoskin case doesn't have a reset hole either. So, spend $0 and download psshutXP and do a software reset instead.

2) Check out bondr006's MyPDA...he modified his extended battery case to hold FOUR SD cards.

3) I'll be honest...since I bought the 4GB Hitachi drive, I have only needed ONE SD card.

4) Aximcases is in a holding pattern for both the PDAir Extended Fit Case and the Innopocket Magnesium Case (both for X50v). I know Innopocket is working on some flaws that have been brought to their attention.

Isn't it great that companies are hearing our requests and providing for them?

Well, I already have 2 or 3 apps that will do soft resets, but they're not too functional if your Ax gets locked and you can't launch them! Unless I'm missing something (always a good possibility) the only alternative is to perform accupuncture to the back of the Ax.
