I have had Piel Frama for both my X5 and my X50v and never had a problem with the belt clip, I regularly carry mine all over the place attached to my belt and of the belt clips I've seen theirs is one of the best. Also their customer service is excellent

I can confirm that, not only is the clip secure, this is the best case on the market: I have bought three over the years (for different pda) and wouldn't change to another make.

The one piece of advice that I would offer is: when re-clipping to the belt make sure that you hear the (satisfying) click that announces the case is properly engaged.

None of my piel frama cases have ever come loose from the belt clip but I sometimes worry about how far the release button sticks up from the top of the clip.

Now I get it. I was on the verge of purchasing the case (there is a shop at my location which sells this brand) and somebody told me that it's possible that the PDA come loose from the clip. And that's why I asked this question.

I think I know how this can happen, the person has a belly and it press the release button when he sits down ??!!

Does the clip scratch the back of the case
I notice that the clip is very close to the case. Does this scratch the case over time ?

Not a scratch, but I'm seeing a circle of wear on the back of the case just at the point where the clip "wings" touch the case. The button is so close to the leather that the clip touches the case. It's not visible from the front of the case and just barely visible from the back. It's very secure, mostly because even if you push the button down, the unit itself has to then slide up to get off the clip. I've never had it come loose accidentally.

I was thinking more of sitting in an armchair and having the button pushed disengaing the lock. You'd have to do something else to make it fall out after that. Big bellies could do it too I suppose... Is every techy overweight though? I'll admit I'm a big guy but that sounds like a personal problem to me csc12345678. j/k
