Question Cingular GPRS + CF GSM/GPRS Card

I have an Axim x50v and a Compact flash GSM/GPRS card I'm trying to setup for the Cingular network.

I can't seem to get connected. I've looked at the few tutorials on this site but they all focus on connecting through a bluetooth phone.

Has anyone had any luck with this type of setup?

thanks

It might help if you provide more details about the GSM/GPRS card.

Moved to Accessories.

Sorry, It is a Convergent G1 card

I purchased the card on Ebay, it did not come with the quick install software (available for 39.99).

Note to radimus: Your thread was the first thing I tried out of the box with no success. As far as service goes, I have the unlimited media net from Cingular.

thanks

How about instead of the entire world trying to use the Jedi mind trick to drag the information out of you, you provide some details.

Please state what you did, and what you are trying to do and what the results are.

Everyone here would like to help, it is why we are here, but you need to participate a bit more in the problem solving effort.

I appologize for being so vague, I've been trying so many different things trying to get this to work, I didn't even know where to start explaining what I've done.

I think I may dump the CF card altogether and just use a BT connection via my Nokia 6230 (I have been successful doing it this way with your guide)

I appreciate the effort in helping.
