Review: Bluetooth 'Smart Keyboard' on x50v
I posted it here:
http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=10220
The keyboard works very well with the x50v. I also have a Belkin infrared keyboard around, but this one works better IMHO.

Nice review. Thanks.

i'm not sure I understand, though, why you give it an 8 out of 10. It was easy to connect to the PDA, but you said that the practical use with 170g is limited because of the lack of stability. And compatiblity issues with PCs as well as other smart phone - you mentioned samsung. And the weird pricing issue you mentioned at the end of the piece. Isn't there a better profile with other BT keyboards?

What was missing for me, and impotant for those people with big fingers is the measure of the keys. Are your fingers small or big - since you mentioned that you often hit a wrong key.

just some questions. I hope this isn't take too aggressively...it surely isn't meant that way.

Overall, it does the job adequately. I prefer it over my other two PDA keyboards (one with infrared for PPC/Palm and one with direct connection for the Clie T-series). Based on my experience with the other two, the BK600 deserves the 8/10.

>Are your fingers small or big

They are normal woman's fingers. Not super-model thin , but definately much thinner than any teenage+ man. The key size is normal for the keyboard size. They use all the space they can on it and don't forget that the keyboard is already a bit bigger than the PDA itself.

Ceril, I have updated the article, I added pictures, so you can have a better look at the size of the keyboard.

thanks eugena.

I enjoyed the article, though. I hope my questions didn't imply otherwise.

I owned that keyboard prior to the Think Outside BT Keyboard. It was a decent keyboard, and I really liked it until Think Outside release WM Smartphone drivers and I tried their keyboard. I probably would have giving it an 8 out of 10 as well, with the Think Outside being a 9 or 10. Just don't try to hard reset and restore from a backup. The keyboard won't work anymore, and you will have to completly reinstall everything to get it working. That was the one thing that really bugged me about it. But Chainpus (the manufacturer of the keyboard) was working on fixing that when I got the Think Outside, so it may be fixed by now.
