HP iPAQ Bluetooth Stereo Headphones...
I would love to use these wireless stereo headphones on my x50v! Does anybody know weather or not it will work on the x50v?

Thanks in advance!

From what I've read, it does work with the X50v with the latest bluetooth stack. Takes a while to connect them but they do work. The next and previous buttons work only if you mess with the registry keys or get betaplayer (picard has tweaked the registry for you).

I really want these headphones but I've got no money...Just spent the last of my money to get an IR keyboard and cheaper earphones.

x50v and HP headphones
My headphones came in last night, got them working today. I tried some of the tips, but had problems understanding the install of bluetooth 1.6. Here is what worked for me. I updated the rom to A03 and then installed my Dell bluetooth keyboard software. I then went to the HP update link for the bluetooth headphones and downloaded and installed. After a soft reset, I found the High Quality headphone icon and followed the instructions and everything is working fine. I can use the keyboard and headphones at the same time. I noticed some noise when listening to music on wmp but it seemed to clear when I set the processor speed to normal, before it was on auto. The sound is great, stereo even. Search this site for the HP link, sorry I can't remember were I found it. Good luck.

Hello I've juste bought a HP Bluetooth Stereo Headphone but it seems that my X50V don't see it.
I have a european axim with rom r00. I tried to update it with Broadcom 1.5 first but nothing happened. Then I tried the 1.6 from HP and I see in "Buetooth About" that the version is always 1.5.0.2600.
Some one can help me?

Does anyone had this problem?

You don't need the 1.5 and 1.6 update. You can get the full installer of the 1.6 update from HP. Search the forum, the link has been in many posts.

I did it. I had installed the 1.5 first (get from a link found in this forum). I tried to find the headphone before instaling 1.6. But nothing happened. In spite of the installation of the 1.6, i can't find this bluetooth device.
I tried to see if my X50 bluetooth works, and I can connect to a T610 phone. So I'm disappointed.

Have you put the headphones into discoverable mode? You need to hold the action button for about 2 minutes until the status light blinks red/blue alternatitavely. Then start the setup process on the PPC.

You also may try a Hard Reset and install this driver ONLY:

In fact, the thing that I didn't press 10s to create a first connection. I tried to install only HP drivers and it seems work.
