Mr Review of PDairip extended Aluminum Case
I purchased the PDair extended case for my Axim x50v.

Now this is the first PPC case I have purchased so I have nothing to gague it against.

First impression: What a piece of junk.

I don't think I would trust my PPC in this case. The whole thing looks and feels cheap. It's like they just stamped it out of aluminum not caring about the edges or fit and finish.

The neoprene lining was just sloppily pasted to the interior without a thought as to how it looks or fits.

I would have to give this two thumbs down.

Hopefully there are better hard shell cases available on the market.

this is the first and currently only hard case that supports the X50v with the Extended battery. I think it is wierd that the quality is as you say as I have 2 of the normal PDair Metal Cases and both are perfect...the aluminum is a bit thin and can bend a bit, but it still is very strong

I have this case too, and I agree that it seems "cheaper" in terms of its feel (compared to the RhinoSkin), but I believe it will do a good job of protecting the ppc. I don't see any difference between this and the RS with respect to the lining. Given the discount I got from Aximcases, I'm reasonably pleased with mine.
