looking for x50 adapter
Does anyone know how to get another adapter that allows the AC adapter to plug into the bottom of the Axim without using the dock. I have called Dell over 8 times and they tell me that you can only get them with the Axim and if you lose it you have to buy another unit entirely!! This adapter came with the Axim but I would like to get another for the car adapter.

Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what part you mean. I originally thought it was this, but I guess not since it is available on the Dell site and it did not come with the unit.

I think it IS that part according to howardt2's description. And it DID come with the unit (not only mine but others I know.)

howardt2, you might want to post a WTB in the Classifieds section if you don't want to order via the Dell site.

It looks alot like that... except instead of the USB end it has the female round plug connector for the power supply. It will also connect with that end to the car charger that Dell sells.

The one socpsy linked to does not have USB. And it does have a female round plug connector which can be used for the power supply (AC or DC). Are you sure that is not the one? You're not talking about a sync charger right?

Hi There,
I know that www.arkon.com has the cable you need. It only comes with the CM720 Powered Mount for Dell Axim X50. The cable is called the CA820. They are still offering the mouning solution for $59.95 includes the cable your looking for. http://www.arkon.com/bluetoothgps.html
Ben Arena at Arkon says they still have the AximSite user discount going on. You get $10.00 off if you mention Axim Site in their special instructions area when ordering online.
Hope this helps!

YES, you are right. I was looking at the same item at the Dell Canada website and they refer to it as a USB charger adapter. But I think that is the right item.

Thanks alot!!

.
My bad. I bought so much stuff with mine that I remembered it as part of the sync charger, which was a separate item.
