The Dell AC Power Adapter is rated 5.4 volts but what is available outside is 5V. Would this be OK ?

What is a good rating current and voltage rating if I want to buy a non Dell AC Power Adapter ? Thanks.

I am using my 5V AC Power Adapter from my old Ipaq 4150 and it works fine. I switch the adapter back and forth when charging the Ipaq or the Axim.

I've always heard that matching voltage is important with ac adapters. If you don't, you risk damaging the adapter, your axim, or its battery. It's possible that everything will be ok, but I personally wouldn't want to take that risk in the long run.
