I had been using my X5 daily for quite a while when I bought a X50v. I love the X50v and have pretty much retired the X5 to more mundane tasks, such as reading ebooks on occasion, and playing MP3's daily while I work. The one thing I missed when using the X50v was the feel of that wonderfull, odd shaped X5 stylus. I'd been carrying the old worn X5 stylus everywhere I went, it's familer shape, just worked better for me. The other day I got smart and ordered a 3-pack of X5 stylus from Dell. They got here today, and I feel whole again! One in the holder on the X5, one for work, one by my easy chair, and one next to my bed. Got all the bases covered.

Has anyone else missed using that X5 stylus as much as me, or am I just an odd duck?

Yeah... I like my x5 stylus. I believe they call them Fish style or something along those lines. The X50 stylus is so weird and round....

I like the X50V stylus much better. The shape of the X5 stylus did grow on me eventually, but I just prefer the round shaped styli. Perhaps I am the odd duck?

I really like the Papermate Phd 3 in 1! I have been using the pen version for years and can barely write with anything else. So, it was a no brainer for me to get the 3 in 1.

Well, I come from the Palm side, and the X50v stylus is almost identical to the one I had with my Tungsten E, so no adaptation at all from that side. I really like the X50 stylus.

hmm, never seen the x5 stylus, I used an Ipaq before and the x50v stylus is almost the exact same as that one, just a bit longer
