Forcing a X50 into a T5 case

I know this is an odd question...but I have physically seen the Tungsten T5 and Axim X50 side by side and they seem pretty much the same sizewise.

So I am wondering if I can fit an X50 into T5 case (I know the headphone is on the wrong side...but I am up for some case dissection)...and if anyone has both and they can check for me.

At my local Staples I can get at least 7 varieties of T5 cases and 0 for the Axim :-( and hence my attempt to use a T5 case for the Axim.

You can fit an x50v into a suitcase if you want, the choice you have to make is if you want one totally configured with cut out etc.. I used my T-Mobile PPC case for a few months until getting a custom Axim case, you can use many cases, the choice is "does it really fit"

I was actually looking around at X50v cases yesterday and a vendor told me to use a T5 case instead since it's SUPPOSED to fit. I've yet to get my X50v so couldn't confirm but he assured me that it'd fit quite nicely. I'd still test it out before buying though.

Thanks for the reply guys. I understand that you can fit an Axim in many different kinds of cases...yet my question was specific to a T5 case.

This is because T5 cases are readily available...and only online retailers sell Axim cases and they cost a lot. I already spent a lot on the Axim itself and the memory and the screen protector...so here is my attempt to get a cheap(er) case that fits an Axim.

Have you checked Ebay.I have seen metal cases for 10-15 bucks. You will be happier with a case made for your Axim.Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Just find a good case and buy one. Don't use something else that wasn't meant fo it and can damage the Axim. The 30 bucks or so you'll spend will be money well spent, don't cheat yourself and your PDA. Go with a Rhinocase or innopocket Mag case....the senas are beautiful...plenty to choose from and work well.
