Innopocket Magnesium Case

I think this is the case I want for my Axim X50v. I'd order it from AximCases with the 15% discount but see that it's still not available. It's past mid April, any idea when they'll be in stock. It's more expensive to buy at Innopocket.com though, since the $5 off coupon is expired. Is there any other discounts that I'm missing?

As of one week ago, the $5 off coupon still worked. Thier postage is cheaper too.

Give it few more days, we should have these cases in. Best estimate is April 21st. So, hold on just a bit longer!

Since Innopocket had problems with the first batch of cases, it may have delayed the shipping to Aximsite.

Unless you need to buy something else from Aximcases, like screen protectors, you're better off buying from Innopocket, they also offer a discount (code AximSite), and shipping is less expensive.

I ordered the case from aximcases today for $37.45 with the discount, says it will be available in 1-3 days so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I also picked up the BoxWave ClearTouch Crystal Screen Protectors, so I think I'm gonna be a happy man! :approve:

I actually just decided to go with the anti-glare protector instead of the Crystal that's been on my X50v, my former X30s and X3s, and is still on all my X5 units. The reason is that I watch a number of movies on my PPC, mostly in the dark or darker conditions. The little light that is reflected causes me to stare at a reflection of myself, and even sometimes to the point where it's hard to see the movie!

I would say the Crystal does what it is advertised to do, and even if there are slight scratches in it when the Axim isn't powered (or backlit), they totally disappear when the screen is on and lit. Impressive. I look forward to seeing what the anti-glare does for me, particularly considering the many ways I use the Axim for my job and in recreation.

The crystal works great for me....when it wears out I'll try the anit-glare. The Mag case is worth the wait, best case I've ever had on a PDA.

InnoPocket's web site is down :(. I just got the go ahead from my wife (didn't ask about getting the Axim itself so I thought it prudent to get the OK for another $40 :)) to get a case. I'll try AximCases. I don't care who I buy but if I can save a buck here or there ...

How can I get an AximSites 15% discount? If I could get the case for $38 including shipping, I would be happy.

Is X50V with a normal battery really loose in the X50v extended battery case? Will it slip out easily? I don't currently have the extended battery and haven't decided that I will get it and I am not a case collector. I was looking for a hard shell case that would work for both.

You can always stuff the empty space with foam to prevent the battery to be loose.
