Music and Memory

I have my new X50V and It's a HUGE step up from the old Sony Clie. YEE HAW !

Anyhow , how are most people storing music and pictures ? One large compact flash card or multiple smaller ones. And how are you storing your memory cards to keep them handy. Does someone sell a case for all

I use a 1GB CF card and a 1GB SD card. Music, programs, and pictures on the CF card. Movies on the SD card. If you have A LOT you can look into a microdrive for the CF slot and get even more space. Generally I never take the CF card out (programs would stop working) and wile I do have several SD cards I can keep 2-3 movies on the one SD card so I don't do to much switching there either. Good Luck~

I have a 1GB CF and a 0.5 GB SD (that is, a 512 Meg);
I had a bunch of things installed on the SD and then got the 1 GB CF, so I have re-installed some things there, and I install new things there.
I have too many PPC themes to mention, but I keep all of them on my CF, and I have a bunch of personal photos (which I'm sorting to create a CD of to bring to the store to have printed --- in my spare time), and I have a couple of albums (mp3s) on my SD, and a few more on my CF.
-Not as organized as I'd like, but I really do know where everything is.

I have 2 1GB SD cards and a 2GB CF card that I use. My Sena case holds the extra SD card so I have all of my memory with me at all times. One SD card is for movies and one is for music :)

I have:

1GB SD Card: All the programs and games. Everything that is not going to main memory (today plugins) or BIS (very important apps, like Beta Player, or Resco Picture, or GSPlayer) goes there. I have two main folders \SD Card\Program Files\ and \SD Card\Games\ in which I keep everything organized. Also, a \SD Card\My Documents\ hold every app-related (or game-related) document (ROM for emulators, etc.) This card is always in.

2GB CF Card: Documents. Mainly MP3 files (around 1.5GB), 3D demos, eBooks (Tomeraider + MS Reader) and pictures.

Extra CF cards: From my camera for instance. I put them when I need to access the data on them (movies, pictures, whatever).

Simply said, I use my SD card as a harddrive, and my CF cards as regular disks or CDs.

Last backup and themes go to the BIS.

I keep only on the PC everything I don't need (old backups, etc.)
