2200 mAh Mugen Power battery
Hi,
I am wondering if the 2200 mAh Mugen battery fits without any problem into an X50(v). I mean is the size the same than a standard 1100 mAh battery ???

Hi!

No, the 2200 Mugen battery is a bit bigger than the standard battery.

I got this from Aximcases:
"This battery is bigger in size than your original Axim X50(v) battery and will come with a new battery door that will add about 3/8" to the overall thickness of your Pocket PC."

I use the slimer one when i am in public though for two reasons:

1. I am vain (o:
2. it fits my rhino skin

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. 3/8" (~ 1 cm) is a lot actually.

ratoto67, I have 2200 mAh battery from Dell, and it's not that bad. Sure, pda is thicker but you can use it for hours . Only problem is, that there are only few cases to use with extended battery .

@ Hedonicmirage: thanks a lot ... but do not spend too much time
I am wondering if my X50 with this extended battery still will fit in my Proporta leather case (http://www.expansys.lu/product.asp?code=118264) as well as in my car holder..

I have a car holder quite similar to that... with my extended battery the bottom of the Axim doesn't rest on the two bottom legs, so I have to hold it against the car holder and squeeze the arms pretty tightly to get it to stay. It DOES stay, just not as sturdy, and the screen shakes a little bit more while driving.
