Sena Extended Battery Case Question
Has anyone bought the Sena extended battery case?

I have aximx50v and trying to buy a case. Since I use both batteries, and use the extended more often (use GPS with it), i guess the extended case may be the best.

My question is, this extended battery case, if used to hold a regular battery, is that bad?. If I get this case, does it mean, I pretty much will use the extended battery all the time now?

There were talks about this relatively new case, but no reviews....I like the look very much. Not sure if protection is good enough.

Sena customer service already gave me a coupon to use...just want to check before I pull the trigger.

I've got the Sena case with the extended battery. I use the extended battery all the time.
No complaints and it fits in the cradle, which is important.

Some people have complained that the leather on the bottom interferes with the D-pad. Might be a small problem for gaming.
Make sure they send you the "mirror" so the cover is stiffer. Hard press on the center can activate the screen.

You can use the extended battery case when you're using the normal battery, but it will be slightly loose, and the axim will be prone to falling out the top (if the flap isn't closed). I ended up buying a bullguard case for light everday use with the normal battery, and I use the extended Sena case for heavy use (hiking w/ GPS, etc...). Basically I'm saying, if you end up getting the extended Sena, you may want to buy a second case at some point if you plan to use your standard battery regularly.

thanks guys.I find the regular battery to be to short, so most of my time, i will use extended battery. Since I use it with GPS, watch movies..etc...

So I will go ahead with the sena extended and see how that works out.

some others have said that when they use the regular battery in the extended leather cases they have a little piece of foam that they tuck down in there behind the x50 to give it the fit. I took the plunge yesterday and ordered the Innopocket mag case. should be here next wek.

I went ahead and ordered the sena extended case. The customer service at sena are so nice. Gave me coupons 15% off and also included the mirror free of charge. I am axiously waiting for it to come to the door.

You won't be disappointed.
It is true however, that the bottom isn't very protected... but there's no way around for it to fit in the cradle.. I never take my axim out my case anymore!
