x50v leather case to hold spare battery?
Which leather cases will hold a 2nd battery (not the extended 2200 mAH ones, just the normal size like the one that came with the Axim)?

Looking at the JP, Krusell, and PDAir fromAximcases but am open to others.

Would like to stay under $40.

Want to keep it as thin as possible, but also allow for a little bit of extra storage.

Thanks.

You mean that no leather case out there will hold a spare battery, even the normal thin ones?

right. I think most just carry a couple of SD cards, that's all. They are designed to be slim.

You would probably need to use a universal leather case that has some extra room. That would defeat the small concept, however.

Yeah, I guess so. I'd be willing to sacrifice *some* bulk for the extra storage room. Thanks for the replies.

Ok, let's forget about holding the spare battery. Which cases will zipper shut?

PDASkins Case would hold extra battery and other accessories.

Downside; it's not a "thin" case.

Nice case, Bud. Thanks.

You're right though, not that thin. I think I need to decide between zippering shut and holding the extra battery; can't have both.

I would settle for a nice thin zipper case sans extra battery.

Another potential thing is the extended battery case from piel frama and then to "train" the leather to hold it - it would be about the same thickness as the axim with the extended battery.

The only thing is that you can't reduce it once you decide you don't want to carry it around...and every time you take out the axim, you'll have to take it out as well.

but it is over $40
