CompactFlash Modem
I'm about to pull the trigger and buy this puppy. It's an old product and retails for about USD$50.

Trendnet CompactFlash 56K Fax Modem Card specs

Is there any reason it shouldn't work with my X50v? One area of concern is when I make a new modem connection, I don't see CompactFlash modem anywhere in the dropdown list. (I have BT, BT Dialup, Generic IrDa, Hayes on Com1). I suppose the modem will come with drivers?

Should do; I have a Socket CF modem and the installation process was somewhat of a no-brainer. It came with a CD of drivers.
