Freedom Keyboard
Is anyone out there using the Freedom five row BT keyboard for the X50V? I'd love to know how you like it for lots of text entry. Everyone seems to live the TO keyboard, but the Freedom keyboard seems to ahve a nice layout and one website has it for $90.

I use the SMART keyboard (same as the Freedom KB but under different vendor) extensively. I use it extensively and entering large amount of text is not a problem. It may need a little of getting use to the keys in the beginning, as in the other keyboards. I personally feel that it is a good buy. Got it here in Singapore for about US$70.
Oh, the drivers are readily available and updated very promptly. It works well with the A03 ROM update for the X50v.

I bought the Freedom keyboard as I had the Palm IR keyboard and found 4 rows too limiting; I really missed a dedicated number row.

The keys are quite small but I'm a hunt 'n' peck typist, so no real problem.

Am thinking seriously about getting the TO BT mouse, to complement it.

I had a Freedom keyboard, but then sold it because I could never get used to the small keys. I ended up buying a ThinkOutside BT keyboard instead. I don't like having to push a function key to type numbers, but I can type much faster on the TO keyboard than I could with the Freedom keyboard.
