I wonder if any of these devices supports more than one connection at a time. I mean, if I pair it to my Axim AND to my Nokia phone, will music pause with an incoming call, headset switch to the phone, and then resume the music after the call's been ended?

I don't think so but I have no way of trying, as far as I'm aware this sort of device only has one pairing at a time

That's the point that such devices DO have this option. Motorola hs-820, different i-pod things do, and I thought i-phono ones do, until reading the review. Now I don't know. Seem to have lost the device of my dream...
Just a quick update: This only works with Broadcom stack 1.5 + 1.6
The HP patch only will not work.

Just try to backup your Axim, hard reset then install different stacks to test this out.

Just unzip and copy all the files to \Windows directory
Do not forget to move your BTTrayCE in the \Windows\Startup somewhere, soft reset, copy all 1.6 files...
SolSie, if this is the wrong place to ask this question, please direct me elsewhere or maybe we can take it off-line, but I upgraded my x50v as described above.
1) Not sure what you mean by "copy all 1.6 files". Copy them where? didn't I do that already when I unzipped and copied them to the \Windows directory on the PDA?
2) It shows up as v1.6 now, but I don't know how to "connect" my BT headset. I click on "Bluetooth Manager" and get this error:
"The Bluetooth Radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available. You must perform a normal reset before you can turn ON the Bluetooth Radio".

When you install the Broadcom BT 1.5, which comes as CAB file but the 1.6 comes with bunch of files to be copied to your Axim \Windows directory. If you've already done that then there is no need to repeat.
As the message indicates, a soft-reset is needed. Have you tried?
I upgraded my Axim ROM to a05 last week, so I think that had BT 1.5 pre-installed. (I never installed 1.5 as a CAB file).
Yes, I performed a soft-reset.
When I go to Start, Settings, Bluetooth, the "General" tab looks very dif't. I no longer have "on" and "off" buttons; now it says to "insert a bluetooth card to turn it on". Strange, since I won't be using a card.
Anyway, the "About" says v1.6.0 Build 0600.
Bottom line is that I don't know how to enable BT on the x50v. I thought it would be through the "Bluetooth Manager", but I'm getting that weird error about the "BT Radio"...
