I bought a 1000 Mah battery for my x50v at shop.brando.com.hk Charged it for 18 hours but my Axim wont start, it'a also slightly to big so you have to use a screwdriver or a knife to take it out of the Axim. The price was only 22 USD, anyone else have this problem?

I took a look at the Brando shop (http://shop.brando.com.hk/aximx5.php) and didn't find any batteries on sale for the X50/50v. Are you sure you got it from there?

Oops, I take that back. Found the site (http://shop.brando.com.hk/pdabattery.php). I'm not sure why it won't start. Have you tried charging the battery separately on the cradle? Also, when you plug in the battery in your Axim to charge in the cradle, can you turn the Axim on?

Another thing - I'm not sure if it relates to the cause of your problem but the basic Axim batt is 1100mAh. I doubt the 1000mAh batt would make any diff other than to give you slightly less batt life but still, it's something to consider. I assume your Axim works fine with the standard 1100mAh batt, right?

I know that it's only 1000 Mah, but i only need it as a spare battery and it was very cheap. I emailed to Brando and got contacted in one hour. He will send me a new battery.

Cool. Brando's products are usually good. It's great to know that their customer service is equally efficient. Let us know how the new batt works out, ok?

Oh.. US$22 for the batt isn't cheap, is it? I think I can get the 1100mAh batt from Dell Singapore for SGD27 (which is about US$17).

The battery is out of stock, so i got a refund, that's what a call a good customer service.
