Belt clip / Screw annoying
Hi,

I was wondering how many people use their cases with the belt clip...I find it very annoying to have it belt clip or atleast the screw attached to the back of the case all the time.

One way would be to just remove the screw when not needed..but that can get tiring after a while.

I would rather just keep it in the bag in this case. I have a Covertec leather case which has a detachable screw.

Anyone have it hanging from the belt all the time? Look forward to hearing other comments.

Thanks,

I've taken the belt clip off mine. I prefer it in a pocket rather than haning off my waist

Do not always have a pocket available, but always wear a belt so, yes I use the belt clip all of the time.

The little nub is kind of nice when I set it on a table or something too because it puts it at kind of a nice angle.

also use the clip to attach to my dashboard in the car.

IMO, most of those removable belt clips are pretty cheesy (at least the ones I've experienced on aluminum cases). My Rhinoskin belt clip broke within days of purchase. Like psionandy, I just carry mine in my pocket or briefcase.

Walmart sells a small camera pouch with a belt loop for 97 cents. It's made of nylon and has a velcro flap.If you just have to wear it on your belt this is the most secure way and Axims fit in it perfectly. In fact my Axim 30H in a PDair case even fits snugly.

actually, though, this turned out to be the perfect combo for me, but i use the rhinoskin case with my x50v. i really like this little 'digital camera case'.

I have been using EB Cases x50v case with a belt clip for weeks. It is very well made and secure. I used a similar case for my previous PDA (Palm M505) for years and never had a problem with the case or belt clip.

Me too. I'd find it less embarrassing to go out in woman's clothes than wear my PDA on a belt clip! It's just a tad too geeky for my taste, but hey - each to his own.

I have a Sena case and RhinoSkinw/clip. The Rhinoskin is ok but too geeky for me. I only wear it when on a job site. I like the Sena and it fits into my pocket where I know it won't fall out or fall off. I really don't put much faith in the clip and ontop off using the screw for the clip I used epoxy!!!
