Who has the cheapest x50 battery?
Hi all,

I tried a search for this and could not find a definative answer but here goes. I am considering purchasing a extended battery, and was wondering who had the cheapest battery for the Axim X50?

I'd be wary of no name generic batteries... Especially if they are very cheap. The Dell or Mugen batteries are the ones to go for

Where would I find a good price on one of those? The one Dell has listed is $99 which is a bit expensive IMHO.

Stick with the best deal you can find on a Mugen and you'll do OK.

Stay AWAY from cheapie eBay batteries!!!

Go HERE:

http://www.cases.com/aximsite.htm

Copy the code to your clipboard, then follow the links to Dell X50 accessories. Near the bottom of the page you'll find the Mugen 2200 mah battery for $49 plus $6 shipping. With the 15% off, you'll get the battery shipped for under $50.

I've bought two of them and are very happy with them.

I bought that battery for $20 works great. I love having the charge light on the cradle.

I wonder why people think that just because something is cheap its going to explode in your face. When i had my x30, i bought a extended battery for $15 and it worked great!

.

The cheap batteries are made in China and usually have no Charge Limiting Circuitry in them.

Too much charge = GO BOOM!!!

Martha Stewart woud not endorse these things...

Because they are NOT a good thing.
