Extra battery
Just got an additional battery - Mugen 1100. When I read the back of the card that came with the battery it says "Do not leave batteries idle in charger over 24 hours." Does everyone follow this rule and swap out their batteries on a daily basis?

On the same card, "Batteries should be initially charged and discharged 3-5 times to achieve stated capacity." I did not drain my original battery that came with the X50v and as I recall that was not in any of the instructions. How is the quickest way to drain a battery?

Don't actively drain it. What they mean is that 3-5 regular charging cycles are good. I would run it low enough until the Axim tells you that time is almost up and then recharge it. Don't keep draining it as far as you can get it.

Just give it some regular use and perhaps more drain than you normally would the first few times.

I don't leave the batteries sitting in the charger. I'll charge it, take it out of the charger and then top it up if I'm going to be using it.
