Here is the most compact flip case
The case for the Tungsten E/Zire 21,31,72 fits perfectly and even comes with a multifunction pen and 4 screen protectors. I doubt it is leather since it doesn't say so, but it sure looks and feels it. Unlike most flip cases for the X50, the lower corners are protected. While there are no magnets to secured the flap, there is also no ugly strap either making it a very compact and slim case

Looks good. Does the top band in anyway block to upper part of the screen (hard to tell in photo)? Why does you Axim look different on the bottom (missing black plastic with model label)?

No, the top edge lines up perfectly. The reason my X50V looks different is that I applied silver vinyl tape to the case for scuff/scratch protection. When it comes time to sell my stuff, it usually still looks pristine.

Good idea, but unfortunately too late for me. My Ax is a poster child for the woes of scuff/scratch marks.

Isn't it sacrilegious to put an AXIM in a "Palm" case ?
seriously though, the power button, wifi/bluetooth lights and mic are covered up. how do you even turn the thing on and off in the case ?

I will stick with my SENA case. (I LOVE being able to cradle it without removing the case !!

Isn't that like putting a leather interior into a Ford Pinto?

It looks good, the bottom looks like it fits snug. Any chance you can cradle the Axim with the case on?

No I don't think so, it has a stiff backing. I notice that even without a case, there is very little if any clearance between the back of the Axim and the cradle. I bet the even the Sena case stresses the the sync jack on the cradle or the Axim socket or both. I sync with BT at home and using a cable at work, so no problem there.

I like mixing things up and messing with people's minds

As for power button, any of the other buttons will turn it on. What I've done is remapped the side wireless button to the Today screen to turn on the unit with one hand, flicking the lid back. TO turn off, I installed psShutoffXP which provides a off button from the Today screen. As for the other misc LEDs and mic hole, I suppose I can cut holes in the top band of the case, but those aren't too important to me.
