Headset jack to Headset Jack adapter
Hey all,
I was wondering if there was a cable (or if someone could tell me how to make one) that can go from the headset jack on the x50v to the headset jack of a CF GPRS card. I really want to be able to use my bluetooth headset and have all the sound from the cf card piped through the x50v.

I have been trying to cut thing down to one device (currently carrying an x50v, moto v551, x5 <for work>, and 2 other cells, w/ a pager as well.), and having the GPRS card piped throught the axim would be perfect (I also cannot stand wired headsets).

I have been thinking of selling the x50v along with the v551 for a Siemens sx66, but I don't want to go without the POWER of the x50v...

Interesting you would have to rewire the audio output to become a mic input then you would have to find someway to make the incoming microphone input stream to the bluetooth. Before making the cable see if you can use a microphone on the axim and bluetooth to a headset everything being "heard" by the axim through the microphone....then make your cable... example

microphone--axim)) ((bt headset

I hope my explination is clear enough.

then to make your cable you rould need two 3.5mm male jacks with three bands and cross a few wires the tip should be crossed to the band below it. this will allow the cable to be inserted either way and still work. the base should stay the same

YOU NEED TWO OF THESE

[II]
[II]
AA
AA
--
BB
--
\/

AA = BASE/COMMON \/ = TIP/HEADPHONE BB = MICROPHONE -- = BLACK BANDS

WIRE AA TO AA

WIRE \/ TO BB

WIRE BB TO \/

I'm assuming this wil work in wiring them together but I dont know if the axim will support streamig of the mirophone input...

I think that this cable may help. It's very nifty in that it converts the headphone jack into a microphone and headphone jack.

It's part number PX50MS and I think it will at least help with what you need. Good luck.

Long story short, it took a month to get here, but it installed fine and it's pretty good minus its bugs...I have faith that Dell will get them all fixed.
