ac adapter x30 and x50

are they the same thing? I have an x50 but no cradle or dongle, i was wondering if i acquaired one of these will i be able to use my ac adapter for my x30 with them?

I'm not sure if this will help but I used my ac adapter from my X5 for my X50v without any problems.

The ac adapter is the same or close enough but the dongle isn't. That's one of the first things I tried when I got my X50v. The X50v dongle is a lot wider.

So if you get an X50 dongle you can still use your X30 AC adapter.

any chance you can buy just the dongle? I've heard some scary things about the x50 cradle.

You can buy them from a couple of places. Dell and a third-party developer. Both will work fine but the third party one gives you an inch or two of cable to play with.

I think that cable would make the Lego © cradle a killer charging stand.
