Okay, it is just me or does this case force you to put your SD card in with the metal readers pointing out?

The way they have it set up is where you have to put the label side down, protecting the label, not the metal prongs.

What is up with that?

It really doesnt hurt the prongs, i have heard of people running over SD cards with trucks and using them for years after, since they are in the case and not on the outside they are fine.

Awesome. I was worried it was a defect. I did not want to have to send it back to get fixed

On a different note, I love this case, I just need a sync cable

You are one of the lucky few who did not have to wait for months for the magnesium case.

I use the dell travel sync cable so I can easily power it or just use the usb connection. and it fits with the x50 in the mag case. there have been some complaints of cables not fitting correctly with the mag case.
