I have an x50 mid on the way. and im trying to figure out what tpe of case to get. im not sure if i should go for a metal case or leather. what do you prefer and why? and by the way im on a budget of about $30. i think i would prefer the thinnest case possiable that offers good protection.

I personaly use a PDair aluminum case for maximun protection but I prefer a leather case for feel.The aluminum case is somewhat harder to hold on to in my opinion.Either is better than nothing. :approve:

I like hard cases.. so I have the proporta Alu one.. which I bought just before the Magnesium case came out. I'd probaly go for the Mag now (although I still like my ALU one)

Ya, get an Alumimum Rhino, PDAir or similar. I've dropped my axim many times and everytime the case has saved it from certain ruin. I really don't think that a plastic or leather case would have saved my axim. Aluminum is the way to go for outdoor use. I'm very mobile and as a result my axim gets a lot of in transit and outdoor use.

i use a proporta skin case (javo edge is the same) but it doesn't add much weight or mass, and it keeps it from sliding out of your hands
