What's the best keyboard for under $30? I'm not looking for something fancy, but rather for something that will last long and retain functionality.

For $30 you will probably get an IR one and you might get lucky and find a Microinnovaton one for cheap. But I think you will have a challenging time finding the drivers for it.

I have a think outside IR keyboard I got from amazon for $46... its 16 more than your budget but I know that works nicely on the x50

I bought the belkin ir keyboard for $32 plus $5.oo shipping. It works great. Considering you can get a keyboard for a desktop computer for $10 it seems wrong to pay so much for a portable one, but I did anyway.
