Sena/Bellagio case users,... please help!
I need some case help. I *did* check out the many threads on this subject (including the sticky one), and after much research, have narrowed it down to 2 choices.

Sena
OR
Bellagio

What I need help with is...can any of you out there with a Sena case confirm whether or not it holds a credit card? It says it has 2 SD card slots, 1 Multi-purpose pocket, and 2 Business Card Slots. My main question is how big is the Multi purpose pocket? Can it hold cash? a Credit Card? What about the business card holders, will they fit a credit card?

I am looking to use it to carry 2-3 credit cards, small amounts of cash if I ever have it , and my drivers license, but I also don't want it to be huge.

I would go with the Bellagio right now, but I am not too thrilled with the strap/snap opening and I like the magnetic one on the Sena.

I have the Sena case - extended battery version. It will hold a credit card in both business card slots. General purpose slot would hold a drivers license and another credit card card. Cash only in the general purpose slot will hold 10 bills folded in half.

If you don't have the extended battery, then you could get the extended battery case which would allow cash to be stuffed down the back.

I also have the extended battery version of the Sena case. It will hold a credit card but I would not recommend it. It uses magnets to hold the flap closed and although they are outside of the area that holds the cards, they may be close enough to damage the magnetic strip on your credit card.

How much bigger is the extended battery case? Is it just thicker? I have never seen the extended battery setup.

The extended battery is about twice as thick as the standard one and comes with a new battery cover to accomodate the extra thickness. Check some of the other posts re batteries on this site for pictures.

The Sena case for the extended battery has some extra leather on the sides to accept the "bump" of the extended battery. It is still a relatively compact case and allows you to sync the PDA in the cradle without taking it out of the case.

You may be interested in this.

I have the PDA Plus when I need to carry my keyboard and other items. The Sena case is for day to day use. The PDA Plus isn't that bulky when clipped to the belt.

Of course, I'm not that far gone where I use the neck strap!

Thanks, one more question :P

Since the extended battery case is slightly larger to accomodate the extra bump, if I used it with a regular battery (as a way to have extra space to slide stuff in the back as mentioned above), when I do not have anything in there, would it be too loose causing the axim to fall/slide out easier?

The only reference I could find was that eel skin doesnot cause it. Magnetic fields usually do, and the Sena case has magnetic closures.

It would be looser but I don't know by how much. I have not tried it. I don't think it will too much of a problem. Before I got the Sena case, and while trying to decide which case to buy, for two or three weeks I used an EB Cases Slipper case designed for a Handera 330 (the same size as a Palm IIIx). It was very loose but I didn't have any problems with it slipping out.
