X50v CF accessories: lets make a list.
i was wondering what CF add-ons there are out there. cool, quirky, useful, i dunno.

just anythig and everything. i've seen modems and USB interfaces, and god knows what else. i just thought those that had CF accessories could shed some light on their experience and use.

i dont have any, so thats why i'm interested.

whatever u've used, share ur experience.

I've used the Veo CF cam as well as the Targus CF modem - both work just fine on the X50v. Don't forget also CF GPS receivers as well.

Moved to Accessories.

I have some CF aacesories, one GSM/GPRS card (audiovox RTM8000), one Pretec CF Camera (unfortunately only VGA) and one SD/CF adaptor. All with good performance and very useful.

I'm waiting one FM receiver card.

Greetings.

Who makes this and where can you buy it? I remember a CF TV tuner was supposed to come out about a year ago, but for the life of me I can't remember the manufacturer.

As for CF accessories I have a HaiComm GPS receiver and various CF memory cards and microdrives.

The TV one sounds interesting if it gets decent reception outside urban areas.

I have (so far):

Sandisk ultra II 1gb Card
PDAwin Ir extender (for tv remote control, but sw isnt vga)
Targus 56K Modem (leftover from X5)
Pretec SmartMedia adaptor for my Olympus camera
IBIZ Pocket Radio (sw not vga, but still cool)
Hitachi 6GB Microdrive

it would be great to have CF with a flashlight, laser pointer, maybe like a small powered swiss army knife.

oh well, heres my 2 cents
Hagiwara CF adapter for MMC & SD cards (CF type I size), so my axim will have dual SD/MMC slots!

I'm just doing a simple search online and finding alot of stuff.

Socket 10/100 Ethernet CF Card
Socket In-Hand Scan Card SDIO - barcode scanner
Socket 56K Modem CF Card
Socket SDIO Wireless LAN CardSocket Bluetooth Connect Kit + Adapter
This may not count, but I thought was pretty cool... a Bluetooth Serial Port. Sheesh. http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/def...spx?EDC=559628

CDW.com and probably Amazon.com has all this stuff.
