Just got my InnoPocket Magnum Case, but I have a problem with the belt pin..
The case is cool, but there's no way I can screw the little "Metal belt attachment pin" into it.

There is a white plastic ring and a much thinner black rubber ring around the pin. These are, of course, to prevent the pin from unscrewing itself.

Unfortunately, there are so few threads on the pin AND the hole is RECESSED into the case, there's no way I can even catch a single thread with the non-slip-rings on the pin.

If this common or did I get shorted (pun intended) on my threads?

Thanks

Mine seems to work well. Mine is recessed slighly too, but I can get a firm hold. There aren't going to be more than 5 or so threads on the screw anyway. If you have fewer than that, I would contact Innopocket. They seem to be very good at replacing bad cases.

Well, I think I got it working and secure enough.

I took my x50v out of the case and pushed on the backside of the threaded insert. This got the insert close enough to the outside of the case that I managed to catch a couple threads with the pin. I screwed the pin in, it pulled the threaded insert closer to the outside of the case and locked on.

I still question the stability of having only 3 or 4 threads visible beyond the non-slip rings, but at least it's in there. We'll see how it holds up.

Thanks.

If it doens't hold, let me know. I'm not going to be using my belt clip so I'd be happy to send you my mounting pin.

Hey man, thanks for that offer.

I think it's gonna be okay. I'm pretty sure it pulled the insert up pretty close as I screwed it in, and it seems stable at the moment. But I'll let you know if I have any trouble.

Thanks
