Suggestions for what to spend the concession coupon on?
There are a lot of us here that received $35/$50/$100 concession coupons from Dell for delaying our X50V orders till August 19th. Any suggestions for newbies like me on what to spend those coupons on? Right now I'm leaning toward that sleek Rhinoskin case. But I know I'll need a 1 GB SD card too.

Both are good options, but I would go with the Memory card. Then again you could probably find it cheaper somewhere else anyway. Good Luck~

Yup agreeing with the above post, go for the case. You can find the mem. card all over and if you search this site you will find something that suits your needs really cheap.

re: suggestions for concession coupon
I used my $50 concession money to cover half of a Dell keyboard. Had to laugh when I got an email on scheduled shipping date that keyboard would be delayed!

don't forget if you have the larger battery I don't think it fits in case.........before you spend your bucks on something that doesn't fit....

I guess you all pretty much convinced me to get the case. Are the sellers on pricewatch.com trustworthy? I've never bought anything from a website like that before. Also, any particular brands of SD/CF cards that don't work well with the X50V?

With my first coupon ($100) for complaining about the GPS s/w deal I got a 1 gig CF card (already had a 1 gig SD) and a pack of styli.

When I complained about the price drop of $25 on the CF card that they didn't give me they offered me andother coupon ($75) which I gladly spent on the RhinoSkin case and 500mb Xd card for my Olympus camera...plus a few bux.

If you are planning to use the RhinoSkin case in your shirt pocket beware that it is as slippery as mercury on egg yolk and will slip out of you pocket easily. If so, see my post on using Krylon anti-slip spray, at least as a temporary fix. Otherwise its a great case.

I skipped the last memory deal at dell because it wasn't great, but I would like to use one of my concession coupons on memory. I have a $35...which I am going to use for a rino case. The $50 will be used for a 1 gig SD card OR a GPS system.

I have read mixed reviews about the dell bundle. I am very interested in an iGuidance system....though i'm not sure what that will run if I can find a deal....I think aximsite and/or GPSPassion might have a deal, but I haven't found it yet. (Does it ever go on sale?)
