iPod earbuds Vs Boxwave miniBuds

I read on here somewhere that the Boxwave miniBuds were comparable to iPod earbuds. I got some and they are not even close.

Has anyone else compared them?

I cannot find genuine OEM Apple earbuds anywhere. The closest I have found are fake ones out of Singapore on Ebay. Can someone point me in the right direction?

If your iBuds are wasted, why would you want to buy a replacement set? Mine are fine, except I lost the foam padding and yet to buy more, however I don't use them any more. They were uncomfortable to me and constantly had to be adjusted in my ears.

I looked a the $$ ones, but found a comparible Sony earbud. Sound quality to me is great and the cost is very reasonable. I won't pout for a month if something happened to them.

Fit in ear very well, and use the ear canal as a bass chamber (perfect seal), so bass response is good. It also helps to block out a lot of outside noise. I can still hear the jet engines when on planes, but it is considerably less disturbing. If I crank up the volume a bit, I do not even hear the engines.

Picked mine up at Fry's but most good stores like Best Buy, etc should carry them....Here's the link..

PS - If you're really in nead of a replacement set and want genuine iPod buds, I'll send you the set that came with my mini. All you need to do is pick up a pack of foam pads.

I actually wanted to use them with my Axim. I tried out my wife's iPod headphones on my Axim and it was impressive. The Bass is the main thing I found lacking in the Boxwave earbuds.
